Windows 10 May 2019 Update Features : Version 1903 New Light Theme

Windows 10 version 1903 update has been announced in May and set be released. This version gives you a different UI. Actually its more of Theme. You already now the Dark Mode. Now you will get Light mode also. And many more features.

Windows 10 Version 1903 New Features

1. New Light Theme For Windows 10 Version 1903

This is big visual change since the Dark Mode. Its more like the white version of the Dark Theme. More Blur-White added with black icons. Since the Dark Theme doesn't carry through every app and explorer this will fix that issue. Because mostly white is the default theme used and this will fix right in. 

Also the Default Windows 10 wallpaper is tweaked slightly with light colors and lines to match the new theme.

Shadows are now present under several UI elements in including XAML context menus and window popups.

Login screen has Acrylic blur effects. Simply it loos cooler than before.

2. Sandbox For Windows 10 May 2019 Update

This new Sandbox is a very useful feature for every user. Sandbox means It creates a isolated temporary Window like the original just to run unknown .exe and Files to test for malware's and error application which can corrupt your windows.

Because its temporary once you launches and finished execution and testing the window will delete automatically. You will not need to create different virtual machine to test like tech guys do.

 Now you can do this at your PC. Mostly this will be helpful when you try to install new software mostly cracked apps and Games.

 Its better safe than sorry

 Your machine will need to support virtualization capabilities (enabled in the BIOS) in order to enable this.

You have to activate this from Windows Features

• Type " Windows Features " and enter. From that window scroll down and enable the Windows Sandbox and Click Ok.

 3. Cortana And Search Decoupling 

Now the cortana is separated from the Search bar.
Text input in the search bar will be pointed to finding documents and files and Voice input will only handled by Cortana.

• Earlier updates when you try to search up some file it really doesn't work. You can find the exact file. Doesn't exactly dive onto the PC. But in Version 1902 search bar has been optimized to get you the file you are searching Quick and Accurate.
•  To get the new search will go through your top-used apps, recent activities, and files, with options to filter by apps, documents, email, and web results.

4. More Built-in Apps Can Be Deleted Now

This has been a thing in windows 10 now. They have allowed users to delete more built in apps and from this update you can remove more apps like :

• 3D viewer.
• Calculator.
• Calendar.
• Groove Music.
• Mail.
• Movies & TV.
• Paint 3D.
• Snip & Sketch.
• Sticky Notes.
• Voice Recorder.

Also the Microsoft will be moving their browsing engine to Chromium Engine. Eventually Microsoft Edge will be removed.

5. The More Customized Start And Brightness Slider

• Microsoft has decided to make the Start cleaner and smoother by grouping the apps differently. Apps which are less used and crappy apps will be in a different group.
• This feature will only available if you create a new user account or a fresh windows installation.

• New brightness slider will be available in the notification bar.
• Instead of the brightness limit you will have a slider now.

6. Kaomoji And Emoji New Features In Windows Version 1903

• Kaomoji's are like normal emoji. With different faces and emotiones
• EG :  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  - Emoji 12, Kaomoji, and Symbols
• You can access this right from the Emoji tab.
• Emoji Panel is now drag-able.

7. Now You Can Allow Specific Windows Updates To Install In Version 1903

Everybody wants to pause the update. Microsoft finally listen to their customers. Now you can pause updates added more control to the user how updates work.

You can let windows install only major updates and also you can be in a specific version and still get the cumulative updates only. For Windows 10 Home users this will be happy about this and everyone else.

Windows 10 Version 1903 is reserving 7 GB for windows updates. Since when you try to update sometimes it fails because of not enough space. This will leave you less space in the hard drive but will not fail updates.

8. Game Bar Is Updated With New UI ( WIN + G )

• Now you can see PC performance tab right from the game bar.
•  CPU, GPU AND RAM as percentage of usage can be seen.
• Also in the audio tab you can adjust specific volume like different sliders for system sound and the video your playing.
• Also there is a clock on the top with a small menu to activate the tabs which appear on the right corner.
• New Xbox Social Tab is also available now. (beta)

Extra Features Which Will Be Available In Windows 10 Version 1903

• Win32 apps now run within Windows Mixed Reality.
• You can now resize the cursor via a slider, with up to 15 different sizes to choose from.
• You can now set a default tab in Task Manager.
• The touch keyboard will now invisibly dynamically adjust hit points for letters based on how you type.
• Indic Phonetic keyboards are now available for PC.
• A microphone icon is now present in the system tray when your microphone is in use.
• You can now customize quick actions directly within the Action Center.
• The default wallpaper has been updated with lighter colors and a flatter aesthetic.
• Windows 10 Enterprise can now use Automatic Restart and Sign-On.
• The "Reset this PC" option has been updated with a slightly different UI.
• Microsoft will now recommend a fix when Windows detects an issue.
